Nakhon Phanom University Officially Opens Booth for the 2026 Illuminated Boat Procession Festival

On October 16, 2026, Nakhon Phanom University, in collaboration with Nakhon Phanom Municipality, hosted the grand opening ceremony for the "Illuminated Boat Way of Life" booth and kicked off the showcase along the Mekong Riverfront, in front of Sunthon Wichit School.
The opening ceremony was honored by Acting Major Adisak Noisuwan, Governor of Nakhon Phanom Province, who presided over the event alongside Emeritus Prof. Dr. Thawatchai Suppadit, President of Nakhon Phanom University, along with executive members. Together, they lit the lanterns and launched the university's illuminated boat at 8:00 PM, accompanied by impressive cultural performances presented by Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, and the College of Tourism and Service Industry, Nakhon Phanom.

Show Dates: October 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, and 27, 2026
6:30 PM: Cultural performances begin
8:00 PM: Lantern lighting and illuminated boat show launch
