NPU Representatives Attend the 5th/2026 Nakhon Phanom Provincial Education Committee Meeting to Drive Educational Policies

On October 8, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Khajit Na Kalasindhu, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Nakhon Phanom University, attended the 5th/2026 Nakhon Phanom Provincial Education Committee Meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Weera Lerkvanichkul, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Phanom Province, to discuss the implementation of educational policies and enhance the quality of education in Nakhon Phanom Province effectively, held at the Lam Nam Khong Meeting Room, Nakhon Phanom Provincial Hall.

Key agenda items during the meeting included acknowledging the policy directives and focus areas of the Ministry of Education, the PISA evaluation results, and the drive to solve the issue of out-of-school children and youth to reach zero (Thailand Zero Dropout). Additionally, the meeting considered the selection of the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Educational Development and granted permission for family-based basic education (homeschooling) for children.
