Nakhon Phanom Gets Ready to Light Up the Mekong

On 7 August 2026, Nakhon Phanom University representatives joined provincial authorities and partner agencies to prepare for the annual Nakhon Phanom Fire Boat Festival, one of the province’s major cultural events. The meeting focused on coordinating preparations for venues, public safety, traffic management and festival activities. The event is scheduled for 16–27 October 2026 along the Mekong River and around Nakhon Phanom City Hall, bringing together local communities and visitors to celebrate one of the province’s best-known traditions.
