On 21 July 2026, Nakhon Phanom University officially launched the Smart Digital Library during NPU Library Showcase 2026, marking a major step in expanding digital learning services for students, staff, and the wider community. The event was presided over by NPU President Prof. Emeritus Dr. Tawadchai Suppadit and attended by more than 100 participants.
The showcase highlighted the university's vision of developing its library into a future-ready learning hub through digital technology, innovative services, and local knowledge resources. The programme also featured the inaugural Human on the Book session on the history of the Nakhon Phanom Provincial Court and a creative workshop designed to promote interactive, hands-on learning.
