On 27 June 2026, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Tawadchai Suppadit, President of Nakhon Phanom University, met with Siripong Angkasakulkiat to seek budget support for road improvements, including shoulder widening and the installation of street lighting behind the Faculty of Industrial Technology.

The proposed project aims to improve road safety for students, staff, and local residents, strengthen connections between the campus and surrounding communities, and support the university's future growth through enhanced transport infrastructure.
