NPU Turns Durian Waste into Creative Textile Innovation

On 18 June 2026, researchers from Nakhon Phanom University launched a project in Nawa District to transform discarded durian peels into innovative textiles inspired by the cultural heritage of Northeast Thailand.
The initiative combines local wisdom, cultural identity and sustainable innovation to create value-added products, helping strengthen community enterprises and drive the creative economy in Nakhon Phanom.
