NPU Leads New Partnership to Tackle Diabetes in Nakhon Phanom.

On 15 June 2026, Nakhon Phanom University joined the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), the Nakhon Phanom Provincial Public Health Office and the Nakhon Phanom Provincial Administrative Organization in signing a memorandum of understanding to establish the Nakhonphanom Platform, a provincial mechanism aimed at strengthening health promotion and diabetes prevention.


The five-year partnership will support integrated, community-based approaches to prevention and control of diabetes, while promoting the use of evidence-based data, local participation and health innovation. The initiative aims to improve quality of life, strengthen provincial health systems and advance sustainable well-being across Nakhon Phanom.
