On 12 June 2026, Dr. Peerapong Theeraphaopong, Chair of the Faculty and Staff Council, led a meeting to review key priorities and advance the process of selecting a representative for the University Council selection committee following a vacant position.

The council discussed measures to ensure the selection process is conducted in accordance with university regulations, while promoting transparency, fairness and effective representation. The initiative forms part of Nakhon Phanom University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional governance and stakeholder participation.
