On May 17, 2026, Nakhon Phanom University joined the opening of the FIFA Women’s Football Campaign at NPU Stadium to promote football opportunities for young girls across the province.
The programme, organized in collaboration with the Football Association of Thailand and FIFA, brought together more than 500 girls aged 6–15 and over 60 volunteer coaches to develop grassroots football skills, teamwork, confidence, and leadership through sport.
Thai national women’s football players Janista Jinantuya and Chatchawan Rodthong also joined the event to inspire participants and encourage greater participation in women’s football in the future.
