On May 14, 2026, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Tawadchai Suppadit, President of Nakhon Phanom University, joined the monthly provincial coffee forum held under the theme “Good Health, Good Work, Good Quality of Life.” During the event, he shared updates on the university’s Faculty of Medicine project, revealing that construction planning and site marking have already been completed.
The President emphasized that the new medical school would play a key role in addressing the shortage of healthcare professionals in upper northeastern Thailand while strengthening healthcare systems in Nakhon Phanom and nearby provinces. The forum also brought together government agencies, local organizations, and private sector representatives to exchange ideas and strengthen regional collaboration.
