4.1 Output |
1. 10 projects received funding support for strategic
waste management issues at the secondary city level, covering 7 districts,
with 460 project management committee members, 473 volunteers including
Village Health Volunteers (VHVs) and Community Guides (CG) participating in
operations in the area, 3,751 households participating in the project, and
12,418 people participating in the project. 2. After implementing the waste management project in
secondary city areas, it was found that waste volume in all categories
decreased significantly (70%), especially organic waste and general waste
which decreased by more than half, reflecting a change in community behavior
in waste separation and serious reduction of waste at the source. Recyclable
waste also decreased, which may result from household reuse or sale.
Hazardous waste and infectious waste also tended to decrease, indicating
increased environmental and health awareness. Overall, this project helped
strengthen a sustainable waste management system and promoted the community's
role in effectively taking care of resources and the environment in their own
areas. 3. Policy-level expansion of both models covering both
operational areas and provincial level |

Outcome |
1. Expansion through partnerships on both health promotion
