Desirable Characteristics in Khmer Language Textbooks of Secondary Education of the Kingdom of Cambodia

       การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิธีการสร้างคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ที่ปรากฏในแบบเรียน และคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ที่ปรากฏในแบบเรียน โดยใช้ข้อมูลเป้าหมายของการจัดการศึกษาของกัมพูชาจากแผนยุทธศาสตร์พัฒนาชาติฉบับปี 2014 – 2018 และแผนยุทธศาสตร์ด้านการศึกษาแห่งชาติฉบับปี 2014–2018 เป็นเครื่องมือในการวิจัย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ด้านวิธีการสร้างคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ แบบเรียนภาษาเขมรใช้วิธีการกล่าวซ้ำความคิด หรือการสอนซ้ำ ซึ่งสามารถแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ลักษณะคือ 1) การกล่าวซ้ำชื่อบทเรียน 2) การกล่าวซ้ำเนื้อหาในแบบเรียนระดับชั้นเดียวกัน และ 3) การกล่าวซ้ำประเด็นเดียวกันในเนื้อหาแบบเรียนต่างระดับกัน ด้านคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ที่ปรากฏในแบบเรียน ลักษณะที่เด่นชัดที่สุดคือ 1) ความรักและความภาคภูมิใจในชาติของตน 2) การเป็นพลเมืองดีรู้จักหน้าที่ของตน และ 3) การเป็นคนมีคุณธรรมจริยธรรม คุณลักษณะเหล่านี้เป็นสิ่งที่ “รัฐ” ต้องการหล่อหลอมให้กับเยาวชนกัมพูชาเพราะแบบเรียนเป็นเครื่องมือสำคัญในการสร้างคนของรัฐเพื่อพัฒนาชาติ การเรียนรู้ผ่านแบบเรียนจะทำให้เราเข้าใจและรู้จักชาวกัมพูชามากยิ่งขึ้น

       The objectives of this research  are included twofold. Firstly, to study the methods of cultivating the desirable characteristics in Khmer Language textbooks. Secondly, the study 2) to study such desirable characteristics by utilizing data focusing ongoals of education management in Cambodia in which was implemented by the National Development Strategy Plan and National Education Strategic Plan from 2014 to 2018. The results of the research were as follows.  In order to cultivate the desirable characteristics, Khmer Language textbooks employed idea repetition or repeat teaching, which can be divided into three types: 1) repetition of topics 2) repetition of contents in the same class and 3) repetition of contents in different classes. For the desirable characteristics appearing in Khmer Language textbooks, the most prominent characteristics were 1) patriotism, 2) the responsibility, and 3) the morality. The desirable  characteristics was designed and created  by ‘the government’ who utilized the. Khmer textbooks were important tools to make Khmer people, especially the youth group to be aware and understood their own country.
