The objectives of this study were: 1) to develop a curriculum for enhancing the values of discipline and integrity, 2) to compare knowledge and understanding of discipline and integrity among the students between before and after learning the curriculum for enhancing the values of discipline and integrity, and 3) to examine students’ satisfaction with the curriculum for enhancing the values of discipline and integrity. The study was divided into 4 phases: phase 1 – determining the objectives, phase 2 – organizing the curriculum content, phase 3 – implementing the curriculum, phase 4 – evaluating and improving the curriculum. A target group were totaling 64 people as selected 30 teachers and 34 second year secondary school students who studied in room 4 at Municipal Secondary School 3 “Yutithamwithaya” under the Office of Education, Sakon Nakhon City Municipality, Mueang district, Sakon Nakhon province in academic year 2017, who were discipline issues and honesty especially the assigned work. The instruments employed in this study consisted of : the students’ knowledge and understanding and a Students’ satisfaction. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test for dependent samples. Findings of the study revealed the following: 1) Developing a curriculum to enhance the values of discipline and integrity obtained 4 components as follows: (1) objectives, (2) content, (3) learning process uses case studies to highlight learning styles and patterns, and (4) measurement and evaluation. 2) The students’ knowledge and understanding of disciple and integrity found that their knowledge and understanding after learning was significantly higher than that before learning at the .05 level. 3) Students’ satisfaction with the curriculum for enhancing the values of discipline and integrity was at the highest level. |
