A Causal Relationship Model of Teacher Quality Factors on Student Characteristics at the beginning of the 21st Century

     การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนารูปแบบโครงสร้างความสัมพันธ์เชิงสาเหตุของปัจจัยคุณภาพครูที่ส่งผลต่อคุณลักษณะของนักเรียนในช่วงต้นของศตวรรษที่ 21 และ 2) ตรวจสอบความสอดคล้องของรูปแบบโครงสร้างความสัมพันธ์เชิงสาเหตุของปัจจัยคุณภาพครูที่ส่งผลต่อคุณลักษณะของนักเรียนในช่วงต้นของศตวรรษที่ 21 ที่พัฒนาขึ้นกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ การวิจัยแบ่งเป็นสองระยะ คือ ระยะแรกเป็นการกำหนดกรอบแนวคิดในการวิจัย โดยการศึกษาเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง สัมภาษณ์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 11 คน ระยะที่สองเป็นการตรวจสอบสมมติฐานการวิจัย กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาและครูผู้สอน สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา ปีการศึกษา 2558 จำนวน 380 คน ได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน ใช้โปรแกรม LISREL 8.72 ในการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยันและตรวจสอบความสอดคล้องระหว่างรูปแบบเชิงสมมติฐานกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์
     ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) องค์ประกอบที่มีอิทธิพลต่อคุณลักษณะของนักเรียนในช่วงต้นของศตวรรษที่ 21 มี 4 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ การมุ่งมั่นพัฒนาของครู คุณลักษณะส่วนตัวของครู คุณธรรมและจรรยาบรรณของครู และทักษะการสอนของครู และ 2) รูปแบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีความสอดคล้องกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ โดยมีค่าสถิติ ดังนี้ Chi-square = 116.92, df = 102, p-value = 0.14834, χ²/df = 1.1462, RMSEA = 0.02,  GFI = 0.97, AGFI = 0.94, CN = 415.40, CFI = 1.00,  RMR = 0.0016 และปัจจัยคุณภาพครูด้านการมุ่งมั่นพัฒนาของครู มีอิทธิพลรวมต่อคุณลักษณะของนักเรียนมากที่สุด เมื่อพิจารณาจากค่าสัมประสิทธิ์พยากรณ์ (R²) ของปัจจัยคุณภาพครู พบว่า สามารถร่วมกันอธิบายคุณลักษณะของนักเรียนในช่วงต้นของศตวรรษที่ 21 ได้ร้อยละ 31

     The purposes of this study were: 1) develop a causal relationship model of teacher quality factors on student characteristics at the beginning of the 21^st century and 2) verify the developed causal relationship model of teacher quality factors on student characteristics at the beginning of the 21^st century with the empirical data. The study was conducted in 2 phases. Phase 1 was the construction of research conceptual framework by studying of relevant papers and researches, as well as interviewing 11 experts. The subjects were 380 school directors and teachers under Secondary Education Service Office, Office of the Basic Education Commission in the academic year 2558, selected through multi-stage random sampling. LISREL software version 8.72 was employed in the analysis of the confirmatory factors and the examination of goodness of fit between the hypothesis model and the empirical data.
     The results founded were as follows 1) There were 4 components that effected student    characteristics at the beginning of the 21^st century, which were teacher’s determination for development, teachers’personal characteristics, teacher’s virtue and ethics, and teaching skills. 2) The developed model has goodness-of-fit with the empirical data with the statistics as follows: Chi-square = 116.92, df = 102, P-value = 0.14834, χ²/df = 1.1462, RMSEA = 0.02, GFI = 0.97, AGFI = 0.94, CN = 415.40, CFI = 1.00, RMR = 0.0016. Among teacher quality factors, teacher’s determination for development was the most important one which has total effect on student characteristics. When examined from Coefficient of Determination (R²) of teacher quality factors it could altogether explain 31 percent of student characteristics at the beginning of the 21^st century.
