On January 28, 2026, Nakhon Phanom University, led by the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with the Student Development Division, the Corporate Communications and International Relations Unit, the General Administration Division of the Office of the President, and the Nakhon Phanom University Alumni Association, organized a public forum titled “Political Party Policies for the Development of Nakhon Phanom” at the Phanom Grand Ballroom, Wachirabophit Auditorium.

Prof. Emeritus Dr. Tawadchai Suppadit, President of Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered welcoming remarks, highlighting the institution’s role as a regional higher education provider that serves not only to produce graduates and generate knowledge, but also as a public academic space for open dialogue based on democratic principles, respect for diverse perspectives, and reasoned discussion.

The forum aimed to promote understanding of public policy at the provincial level and provided a platform for political party representatives and parliamentary candidates from Nakhon Phanom to present their policy directions and visions for sustainable local development. It also enabled students, staff, and members of the public to engage with information relevant to regional development.

Nakhon Phanom University maintained a neutral position and did not endorse any political party or candidate.
