On March 27, 2026, Nakhon Phanom University’s Research and Development Institute (RDI) hosted the "NPU Research and Innovation Expo 2026" at Wachirabophit Auditorium. Under the theme "Research for Real-World Impact," the event was opened by Acting Major Adisak Noisuwan, Governor of Nakhon Phanom, who highlighted the importance of using innovation to drive the province’s border economy and sustainable development.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kornchai Phornlaphatrachakorn, Vice President for Research, emphasized Nakhon Phanom University’s commitment to community-driven projects. The expo featured research contests and exhibitions focused on agriculture, tourism, and environmental management. By bridging the gap between academia and local needs, Nakhon Phanom University continues to empower the Mekong region through practical, high-impact innovation.
