NPU Launches Smart Farming and Digital Commerce Talent Initiative with Provincial Partners

On February 6, 2026, Nakhon Phanom University signed an MOU with the Provincial Agriculture and Commerce Offices and the Young Smart Farmer Network at the Digital Technology Building. This strategic partnership aims to launch the “Smart Farm Management and Digital Commerce with AI/IoT” program to develop a high-skilled workforce for the BCG economy.
The agreement was signed by:
- Professor Emeritus Dr. Tawadchai Suppadit, President of Nakhon Phanom University;
- Ms. Wilai Ut-sa, Provincial Agriculture Officer;
- Ms. Kamolkwan Tansathitaya, Provincial Commerce Officer;
- Mr. Natthaphum Pradecha, Chairman of the Young Smart Farmer Network.
The initiative focuses on Upskilling and Reskilling local talent through a hybrid curriculum, combining Nakhon Phanom University’s academic research with real-world expertise from the government and private sectors.
President Tawadchai stated that the program aims to bridge the gap between production and digital markets, empowering the next generation to become globally competitive tech-driven agricultural entrepreneurs.
