Adopting Wrong Values among Graduates Appears to be Lack of Consciousness

               จากการสำรวจสภาวการณ์ปัจจุบัน พบว่า จิตสำนึกในเรื่องความเป็นมนุษย์ของนิสิต-นักศึกษากำลังเสื่อมถอยลงจนอยู่ในขั้นวิกฤติ โดยเฉพาะจิตสำนึกด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมและส่วนรวม และจิตสำนึกด้านความมีวินัยในตัวเอง และจากการรวบรวมข้อมูลต่างๆ พบว่า ปัจจุบันจิตสำนึกเป็นปัญหาใหญ่ที่มีผลต่อคุณลักษณะบัณฑิตที่พึงประสงค์ผลการสำรวจ สะท้อนภาพวิกฤตของการไร้จิตสำนึกในด้านต่างๆ ซึ่งทำให้บัณฑิตมีความฟุ้งเฟ้อ สนใจในวัตถุนิยมและหลงในแสงสี พบว่าสาเหตุหลักๆ มี ดังนี้ 1) ค่านิยมการบริโภคที่ฟุ้งเฟ้อ พบว่า นิสิต-นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ของมหาวิทยาลัยเอกชนบางแห่งขับรถยนต์ราคาคันละหลายล้านบาท อีกทั้งยังนำเงินกู้ยืมเงินจากกองทุนกู้ยืมเพื่อการศึกษาไปใช้ผิดวัตถุประสงค์ 2) ค่านิยมทางเพศ พบว่า มีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อการชมคลิปวิดีโอลามกคนที่ดูคลิปวิดีโอลามกส่วนใหญ่เป็นชาย (ร้อยละ 95.6) และอาศัยอยู่หอพักมากกว่าอยู่บ้าน นอกจากนี้ทัศนคติโดยรวมในการชมคลิปวิดีโอลามกทั้งชายและหญิงที่มีอายุ ระหว่าง 17-24 ปี มีใกล้เคียงกัน 3) ค่านิยมต่อการทุจริต พบว่า นักเรียน และนิสิต-นักศึกษาใช้เทคโนโลยีในการทุจริตการสอบเพิ่มมากขึ้น และ 4) ค่านิยมเกี่ยวกับการซื้อเทคโนโลยี พบว่า ขยะเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์มีจำนวนเพิ่มสูงมากขึ้น ซึ่งส่งผลต่อปัญหาด้านสุขภาพและสิ่งแวดล้อม
 

              According to the survey of current situations, consciousness on humanity among university students has been critical regression, especially for social and public consciousness, as well as self-discipline consciousness. The data collection revealed that at present consciousness has become a major factor affecting the desirable characteristics of graduates. Therefore, university students’ crisis of lacking consciousness could be reflected in four aspects. That is, 1) wrong value on over-consumption showing that most of students in some private universities drove a nearly-1-million-baht car and misused the student-loan fund; 2) sexual value revealing the attitude towards watching pornography clips among the male students (95.6%) in the 17-24 age range usually living in a dormitory rather than a house, whose their overall attitude of watching pornography clips was similar to that among females in the same age range; 3) in regard to cheating value, students in general and university students have used technology more and more in cheating their examination; and 4) with respect to technology acquisition value, computer waste has so greatly increased that it leads to incurring health and environmental problems.
