Buppe San Nivas : The Reflections on the Transmission Of Cultural Information

      บทความนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาภาพสะท้อนด้านการถ่ายทอดข้อมูลทางวัฒนธรรมในนวนิยาย เรื่อง “บุพเพสันนิวาส” ของรอมแพง ศึกษาวิเคราะห์โดยใช้ระเบียบวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการศึกษาพบภาพสะท้อนด้านการถ่ายทอดข้อมูลทางวัฒนธรรมจากนวนิยายเรื่องนี้ 7 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) ภาพสะท้อนความเชื่อตามหลักพุทธศาสนา พบ 3 ประการ ได้แก่ การทำบุญ การกรวดน้ำ การทำทาน 2) ภาพสะท้อนความเชื่อที่ไม่ใช่หลักพระพุทธศาสนา พบ 2 ประการ ได้แก่ ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับเวทย์มนตร์คาถา ความเชื่อเรื่องโหราศาสตร์ 3) ภาพสะท้อนวิถีปฏิบัติของคนไทยโบราณ พบ 3 ประการ ได้แก่ มารยาทการเคารพผู้อาวุโส การรับประทานอาหาร การแต่งกาย การเดินทางด้วยเรือ d4) ภาพสะท้อนภูมิปัญญาไทยโบราณ พบ 2 ประการ ได้แก่ ภูมิปัญญาด้านโภชนาการ ภูมิปัญญาการประดิษฐ์เครื่องใช้ 5) ภาพสะท้อนเหตุการณ์สำคัญในประวัติศาสตร์ พบ 3 ประการ ได้แก่ คณะทูตฝรั่งเศสเข้าถวาย พระราชสาส์นสมเด็จพระนารายณ์มหาราช คณะทูตสยามถวายพระราชสาส์นพระเจ้าหลุยส์ที่ 14 พระเพทราชาขับไล่ทหารฝรั่งเศสออกนอกกรุงศรีอยุธยา 6) ภาพสะท้อนด้านการใช้ภาษา พบ 3 ประการ ได้แก่ เช่น คำว่า ออเจ้า, ตะครั่นตะครอ, เพลาชาย 7) ภาพสะท้อนสถานที่สำคัญ พบ 3 ประการ ได้แก่ เช่น ป่าผ้าเหลือง ตลาดดินสอ ปากคลองขุนละครไชย

    The objective of this article is to study the reflections on the transmission of cultural information from the novel entitled “Buppe San Nivas” by Rompaeng. The method of study employed was a descriptive research.The results found 5 reflections on the transmission of cultural information from this novel: 1) reflections of Buddhism beliefs in making merit, libation and alms; 2) reflections of non-Buddhism beliefs in necromancy and astrology; 3) reflections of the traditional ways of Thai people in etiquette manners regarding respect for elders, eating / dressing, and travel by boat; 4) reflections of ancient Thai wisdom, including nutritional wisdom, wisdom of invention of appliances; 5) reflections of 3 important events in history, including ‘the French diplomatic mission offered a royal message to King Narai the Great, the Diplomatic Corps of Siam presented a royal letter to Louis XIV, and Phra Phet Racha drove French soldiers out of Ayutthaya’; 6) reflections on the use of 3 words in language, including O Chao, Ta Khran Ta Khro, and Phlao Chai; 7) reflections on 3 important locations, including Pa Pha Lueang, Talad Dinso, and Pak Khlong Khun Lakhon Chai.
