การสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาสังคมแห่งการเรียนรู้เพื่อการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน Synthesis of Research on Developing a Learning Society For Sustainable Development
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the important factors in developing a learning society for sustainable development, 2) to study the models of developing a learning society, and 3) to make policy recommendations for developing a learning society for sustainable development. The research employed qualitative synthesis with meta-ethnography methodology. The target groups included relevant research reports published in the databases of Thai theses and research papers during the years 2006-2016. Data analysis employed content analysis by categorizing contents, linking them, finding their relationships, interpreting, and creating conclusions. Research data were presented using descriptive writing style.
Findings of the study revealed as follows. 1) The important factors for developing a learning society for sustainable development were: (1) education, (2) personal qualifications/demographic characteristics, and (3) levels of participation in the community. 2) The models of developing a learning society for sustainable development included: (1) educational management, (2) community participation, (3) creating a positive attitude, (4) creating a learning network and learning exchange. 3) Policy recommendations for developing a learning society for sustainable development included the following. (1) Media or learning sources should be developed to meet the need of people in the community. (2) Participation should be implemented naturally in the specific context. (3) Knowledge should be provided and a positive attitude should be created in community development. (4) The exchange of learning should be supported between communities. (5) Government agencies need to support the community, but they need more involvement than directing and budgeting.
