Lao Ethnic Groups in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province: History, Culture and Guidelines for the Cultural Tourism Promotion

    การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาประวัติความเป็นมาและลักษณะทางวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ลาว ที่อาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา และ 2)ศึกษาแนวทางการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมในชุมชนกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ลาวในพื้นที่จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาโดยใช้วิธีการศึกษาเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้อง การเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนาม การสัมภาษณ์ การสนทนากลุ่ม การสังเกตและการจัดเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้จากนั้นนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์ตีความหาข้อสรุป นำเสนอข้อมูลด้วยวิธีพรรณนาวิเคราะห์
    ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) กลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ลาวที่ยังคงอาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่ของจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยามี 2 หมู่บ้าน คือ บ้านต้นโพธิ์ และบ้านไผ่หนอง ตำบลท่าช้าง อำเภอนครหลวงจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา ภาษาลาวที่ในการสื่อสารพบในกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุ 4-5คนเท่านั้น ประเพณีวัฒนธรรมที่เป็นอัตลักษณ์ของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ลาวที่ยังคงอยู่ในพื้นที่ คือ พิธีไหว้ครูบูชาเตา พิธีไหว้พระวิษณุกรรม ประเพณีตักบาตรดอกไม้ และภูมิปัญญาการทำมีดอรัญญิก และ2) การศึกษาแนวทางการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมในชุมชนกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ลาวในพื้นที่ควรประกอบด้วยการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงประเพณีและวัฒนธรรม การส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวโบราณสถาน พิพิธภัณฑ์ และการเรียนรู้การทำมีดอรัญญิก

    The purposes of this study were: 1) to investigate history and cultural characteristics of Lao ethnic groups who lived in the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province area, and 2) to examine guidelines for promoting cultural tourism in the Lao ethnic group community in the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province area. The study was conducted by relevant document examination, field data collection, interviews, focus group discussion, observation, and organization of the platform for exchange of learning. Data gained were analyzed, interpreted, concluded, and presented via descriptive analysis.
    The study results were as follows. 1) There were 2 villages of the Lao ethnic groups who lived in the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province area, namely Ban Ton Pho and Ban Phai Nong in Tha Chang Sub-district, Nakhon Luang district. The Lao language used to communicate was found among the 4-5 people only. The cultural identities of the Lao ethnic groups remaining in the area were Wai Khru ceremony among blacksmiths, Lord Vishnu warship ceremony, flower-offering merit making, and tradition of making an Aranyik knife. 2) The investigation of guidelines for promoting cultural tourism in the Lao ethnic group community should be based on promotion of traditional and cultural tourism, archaeological site tourism, museums, and learning of how to make an Aranyik knife.
