A Study of Morality and Ethics of Nursing Students in Srimahasarakham Nursing College

    การวิจัยเชิงพรรณานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณธรรมจริยธรรมของนักศึกษา วิทยาลัยพยาบาลศรีมหาสารคาม  กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักศึกษาหลักสูตรพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิต วิทยาลัยพยาบาลศรีมหาสารคาม ชั้นปีที่ 1–4 ปีการศึกษา 2559 คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้น จำนวน 148 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้แบบสอบถามคุณธรรมจริยธรรมพัฒนาโดยผู้วิจัย ผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาโดยคำนวณค่าดัชนีความสอดคล้อง ได้ค่า IOC เท่ากับ .91 และตรวจสอบความเชื่อมั่นได้ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์อัลฟาของครอนบาค เท่ากับ .90 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ แจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและ ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
    ผลการวิจัยพบว่า คุณธรรมจริยธรรมของนักศึกษาวิทยาลัยพยาบาลศรีมหาสารคามโดยรวม อยู่ในระดับมาก ( =4.29, S.D.=0.50) และรายด้านอยู่ในระดับมาก 1) ด้านความมีวินัยในตนเอง อยู่ในระดับมาก ( =4.36, S.D.=0.50) 2) ด้านความซื่อสัตย์ อยู่ในระดับมาก ( =4.24, S.D.=0.55) 3) ด้านความเสียสละ อยู่ในระดับมาก ( =4.05, S.D.=0.57)     4) ด้านความขยัน อดทนอยู่ในระดับมาก ( =4.23, S.D.=0.53) 5) ด้านความเอื้ออาทร อยู่ในระดับมาก ( =4.40, S.D.=0.49) 6) ด้านความรับผิดชอบ อยู่ในระดับมาก ( =4.40, S.D.=0.4 6) ควรมีการศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อคุณธรรมจริยธรรม ของนักศึกษาพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิต วิทยาลัยพยาบาลศรีมหาสารคาม

    The purpose of this descriptive study was to investigate morality and ethics of nursing students in Srimahasarakham Nursing College. A sample was a total of 148 freshmen and sophomore students in the Bachelor of Science in nursing program at Srimahasarakham Nursing College in academic year 2016, who were selected by stratified random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire of morality and ethics developed by this author. Content validity was verified by experts and by calculation for the value of index of item-objective congruence (IOC) which was equal to .91. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire according to the Cronbach alpha was equal to .90. Data were analyzed using statistics of frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
    The findings showed that morality and ethics of nursing students at Srimahasarakham Nursing College as a whole was at high level ( =.29, S.D.=0.50) and each aspect was also at high level. They included these aspects which all were at high level: 1) self-discipline ( =4.36, S.D.=0.50), 2) honesty ( =4.24, S.D. =0.55), 3) sacrifice ( =4.05, S.D.=0.57), 4) diligence and patience ( =4.23, S.D.=0.53), 5) generosity ( =4.40, S.D.=0.49) and 6) responsibility ( =4.40, S.D.=0.46). There is expected to be a study on factors affecting morality and ethics of students in the Bachelor of Science in nursing program at Srimahasarakham Nursing College.
