บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสนอแนะวิธีการออกแบบและการกำหนดค่าคะแนนของตัวเลือกของแบบสอบถามชนิดผู้ตอบอ่านและตอบเอง ในงานวิจัยแบบสำรวจส่วนใหญ่จะใช้แบบสอบถามชนิดนี้ เพื่อลดความผิดพลาดจากการตอบแบบสอบถามและให้ได้ผลตามที่ผู้วิจัยต้องการที่จะถาม ผู้วิจัยหรือผู้พัฒนาแบบสอบถามควรคำนึงถึงลักษณะการออกแบบและการกำหนดค่าคะแนนของตัวเลือกของข้อคำถามในประเด็นดังต่อไปนี้ 1) คำถามที่เกี่ยวกับเหตุการณ์หรือพฤติกรรมที่มีเวลาเข้ามาเกี่ยวข้อง 2) การให้คำจำกัดความเหตุการณ์หรือสิ่งที่จะถาม 3) ข้อคำถามที่มีการให้ค่าคะแนน มีตัวเลือกค่ากลาง และมีตัวเลือกไม่มีความเห็น 4) คำถามที่คุกคามและอ่อนไหว 5) การสอดคล้องเกี่ยวเนื่องของคำถามกับผู้ตอบ 6) ตัวเลือกตอบ 7) คำถามที่เป็นตารางและให้เลือกตอบทุกตัวเลือกที่ใช่ 8) การออกแบบรูปแบบของแบบสอบถาม และ 9) ประเด็นอื่นๆ |

This article aims to suggest the readers about designing and scaling the self-administered questionnaire used in survey studies. Most survey studies employ this kind of questionnaire. In order to reduce response error and increase validity of the results expected by the researchers, the questionnaire developers or researchers should be concerned about questionnaire design and scale involving the following aspects: 1) questions about the event or behavior that involves time, 2) definition of event or thing to ask, 3) rating-scale questions with a number of points on the scale including a midpoint and an option of no opinion, 4) threatening and sensitive questions, 5) questions pertinent to the respondents, 6) answer choices, 7) multiple select (or select all that apply) question type, 8) questionnaire format and design, 9) and the like. |
