A Concept of Creative Dancing Art in Thailand

    การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษางานรูปแบบของการแสดงนาฏยศิลป์ไทยร่วมสมัยที่สะท้อนบริบทของสังคมไทยเรื่อง “Contemporary Visuality of Thai Philosophy of Life” ผลงานสร้างสรรค์ของศาสตราจารย์ ดร.นราพงษ์  จรัสศรี 2) ศึกษาแนวความคิดในการสร้างงานนาฏยศิลป์ไทยร่วมสมัยที่สะท้อนบริบทของสังคมไทย

    ผลการวิจัยพบว่า งานศิลปกรรมทุกแขนงสามารถใช้เป็นสื่อกลางในการนำเอาความหมายของพุทธศาสนาผ่านเทคนิค วิธีการของการแสดงออกทางงานศิลปะนั้นได้ดังนั้นงานพุทธศิลป์จึงเป็นความงดงามทางศิลปกรรมที่แฝงไปด้วยสัญญะทางพุทธศาสนานั่นเอง รูปแบบในการสร้างงานนาฏยศิลป์ไทยร่วมสมัย “Contemporary Visuality of Thai Philosophy of Life” 1) รูปแบบของบทการแสดง คือ ดอกบัวเป็นสื่อที่จะสื่อให้ผู้ชมในระดับที่ลึกซึ้งถ้อยคำของภาษาเขียน           ที่เรียกว่า วัจนภาษา การเคลื่อนไหว ดอกบัวที่ใช้เป็นสัญลักษณ์ที่แทนผู้คน อารมณ์ เหตุการณ์ต่างๆ ปรัชญาเป็นอวัจนภาษา       ในงานชุดนี้ ดอกบัวยังได้ใช้พัฒนาและปรากฏอยู่ในงานเกี่ยวข้องกับพุทธศาสนา วิถีชีวิตความเชื่อในการนับถือพระพุทธศาสนาในบริบททางสังคมไทย 2) แนวคิดในการสร้างงานนาฏยศิลป์ไทยร่วมสมัยที่สะท้อนถึงบริบทของสังคมไทยผ่านการแสดงชุด “Contemporary Visuality of Thai Philosophy of Life” พบว่า การแสดงได้กำหนดแนวคิด (Concept) ร่วมกันที่จะนำเสนอผลงานการแสดงดั้งเดิมของกลุ่มประเทศอาเซียนผ่านมุมมองของศิลปะสมัยใหม่ นราพงษ์ จรัสศรี ได้นำพื้นฐานความคิดจากความเชื่อพื้นฐานทางวัฒนธรรมและนาฏยศิลป์เดิมของไทยผสมผสานกับศิลปะการแสดงตะวันตก โดยใช้องค์ประกอบต่างๆ ที่มีการแสดงผสมผสานระหว่างความเป็นไทยและสากลสอดรับแนวคิดจากความเชื่อกระบวนการ              นาฏยประดิษฐ์ผ่านเรื่องราว ปรัชญา วิถีชีวิต สังคม ศาสนา วัฒนธรรม และขนบธรรมเนียมจารีตประเพณี ในลักษณะของความเป็นไทย การสร้างสรรค์งานในบางอย่างมีคุณค่าตามหลักปรัชญาสุนทรียศาสตร์เรื่องรูปแบบสุนทรียะอย่างไรก็ตามการแสดงชุดนี้มีคุณค่าทางนาฏยศิลป์ไทยร่วมสมัยตามหลักวิชาการคือเป็นศิลปะที่พัฒนาสร้างสรรค์ขึ้นใหม่อันมีวัฒนธรรมเป็นรากฐานสำคัญในการสร้างสรรค์การแสดงชุดนี้ใช้รูปแบบการแสดงที่มีลีลาท่าทางของตะวันตกและลีลาท่าทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ไทยเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการศึกษางานด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทยและนาฏยศิลป์ไทยร่วมสมัยตรงตามวัตถุประสงค์

This research has two objectives : (1) To study a model of Thai contemporary dance reflecting Thai social context through a performance on “Contemporary Visuality of Thai Philosophy of Life,” an artistic creation by Professor Narapong Charassri, (2) To study a concept in the creation of Thai contemporary dance reflecting Thai social context.

The finding indicates that every branch of arts can serve as a medium to disseminate Buddhist meanings by technical use of artistic expressions. Therefore, Buddhist art works present the perception of Buddhist religion inherent in this Thai contemporary dance, “Contemporary Visuality of Thai Philosophy of Life” 1)  The performing model relied on lotus flowers as media to communicate with the audience on a deep level of utterances, movements, lotuses as symbols of classes of people, emotions, circumstances, and the philosophy disguised in silent expressions. The lotus flowers relates to the development and works in Buddhism, the way of life and belief in the context of Thai society. 2)  The concept in the creation of Thai contemporary dance reflecting Thai social context through a series of performance of  “Contemporary visuality of Thai philosophy of  life” The analysis of Thai contemporary dance on “Contemporary visuality of Thai  philosophy of life”  conducted on a common concept to present the original ASEAN performance with Narapong Charassri’s modern artistic vision is based on the basic Thai cultural belief and traditional dance blended with the western performing arts through the use of components in combining Thainess and international characteristics from the process of choreographic invention derived from stories, philosophy, way of life, social milieu, religion, custom and tradition related to Thai characters. It is a creation of something valuable in respect to aesthetic philosophical principle and model. However, this performance upholds the value of Thai contemporary dance as a new creative art form based on the cultural fundamentals presenting the western and Thai choreographic performance which would benefit the study of Thai cultural art work and contemporary dance as set in the objectives.
