การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางการเมืองในสังคมหลังชาวนาอีสาน กรณีศึกษานัยสำคัญต่อสังคมการเมืองไทยในปัจจุบัน

     บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอให้เห็นถึงการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางการเมืองในหมู่ชาวนาภาคอีสานที่มีนัยสำคัญต่ออำนาจทางการเมืองของประเทศไทยในปัจจุบัน โดยวิเคราะห์การเปลี่ยนแปลงผ่านแนวคิดสังคมหลังชาวนา (Post Peasant Society) ซึ่งเป็นสังคมชาวนาที่มีการเปลี่ยนไปอย่างกว้างขวางทั้งโครงสร้างทางเศรษฐกิจ สังคม วัฒนธรรมและการเมือง ส่งผลให้ชาวนากลายเป็นผู้มีอัตลักษณ์หลายแบบ (Polybius Identity) มีความปรารถนาที่จะเข้าไปเกี่ยวข้องกับการเมืองมากขึ้นเพื่อต่อรองผลประโยชน์ที่พึงมีพึงได้จากอำนาจรัฐ ลักษณะสำคัญของโครงสร้างทางการเมืองในสังคมชาวนาอีสานปัจจุบันจึงมีลักษณะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของรัฐ ไม่ได้ปฏิเสธอำนาจรัฐดังเช่นอดีตที่ผ่านมา

     This article aims to present the political change in the northeastern region farmers. Such change is significant towards Thailand’s current political power. Political change here is analyzed through the concept of post peasant society – the society of farmers which has changed extensively in economic, social, cultural and political structures. As a result, the farmers become those who have a Polybius identity. They have a desire to be more involved in politics in order to negotiate the benefits that they have the rights to receive from the power of state. The important characteristic of the political structure in the Northeast farmers’ society nowadays is that it is part of the state. The farmers, thus, do not deny the power of state as in the past.
