อิเหนา : วีรบุรุษนักรักและนักรบ |

บทความนี้มุ่งวิเคราะห์ภาพลักษณ์ของอิเหนาในฐานะวีรบุรุษหรือตัวละครเอกฝ่ายชายในบทละครเรื่องอิเหนา พระราชนิพนธ์ในพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธเลิศหล้านภาลัย ผลการศึกษาพบว่า อิเหนาเป็นทั้งวีรบุรุษนักรักและนักรบที่มีทั้งลักษณะทางกายภาพและสถานภาพที่โดดเด่น เป็นผู้ที่ทำให้เรื่องราวมีสีสันเพราะมีบทบาทสำคัญตลอดทั้งเรื่องและมี การผจญภัยอันโลดโผนและพิสดาร อิเหนาในฐานะวีรบุรุษนักรัก มีลักษณะเป็นคนเจ้าเสน่ห์เป็นที่ต้องตาต้องใจของสตรี ในขณะเดียวกันก็มีอุปนิสัยเจ้าชู้ มีชั้นเชิงในการเกี้ยวพาราสี อิเหนาในฐานะวีรบุรุษนักรบ ประกอบไปด้วยคุณลักษณะของนักรบ อันได้แก่ ความกล้าหาญ ความเก่งกาจ ความชำนาญ ความเด็ดขาดและปฏิภาณไหวพริบ อีกทั้งอิเหนายังมีทักษะการสู้รบทั้งแบบกษัตริย์และการสู้รบแบบกองโจร ส่วนการผจญภัยของอิเหนาผู้เป็นทั้งวีรบุรุษนักรักและนักรบ พบว่า การผจญภัยของอิเหนาจะต้องกล่าวถึงเหตุการณ์สำคัญตั้งแต่เริ่มเรื่องจนกระทั่งจบเรื่อง ซึ่งมีอยู่ 8 ตอน คือ 1) กำเนิดของอิเหนา 2) การออกเดินทางไปจากมาตุภูมิ 3) พบคู่ครอง 4) เผชิญอุปสรรค 5) เกิดการพลัดพรากและออกตามหากัน 6) เผชิญปัญหาต่างๆ 7) ได้พบกับคู่ครอง และ 8) เดินทางกลับสู่มาตุภูมิ

This article analyzes Inao’s appearance as a portrait of the hero or the male protagonist in Inao drama – a royal writing of King Rama II. The study reveals that Inao with his portrait of the hero as a lover and warrior along with both distinctive physical appearance and status quality makes the story colorful; for he plays an important role throughout the story and faces with the eccentric and riveting adventures. Inao as both hero and lover is charming and attractive to women. At the same time, he has a Casanova habit and tactic of courting women. Inao as both hero and warrior is considered to have characteristics of a warrior such as courage, versatility, expertise, decisiveness, and intelligence. Moreover, he is skilled in fighting both in style of a king and in style of guerrillas, The adventures of Inao – a hero, lover and warrior are found that his significant events which need mentioning from the beginning until the end of drama consist of 8 episodes: 1) birth of Inao, 2) departure from motherland, 3) meeting a mate, 4) facing obstacles, 5) parting and looking for each other, 6) facing various troubles, 7) eventually meeting his mate, and 8) returning to motherland at last.
