A Study in Behavior to the Application of Facebook and NPU e-Learning System in Instruction of Nakhon Phanom University: A Case Study in the Faculty of Management Science and Information Technology and Faculty of Art and Science

                 การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) พฤติกรรมการใช้ Facebook ของนักศึกษา 2) พฤติกรรมการใช้ระบบ NPU e-Learning ในการติดต่อสื่อสารในชั้นเรียน และ 3) ความต้องการใจการใช้งาน Facebook และระบบ  NPU e-learning กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือนักศึกษาคณะวิทยาการจัดการและเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ และคณะศิลปศาสตร์และวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม จำนวน 470 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถามประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ (Rating Scale) มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นทั้งฉบับเท่ากับ 0.81 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

                   ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) นักศึกษาเข้าใช้งาน Facebook เป็นประจำทุกวันจำนวน 258 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 54.89    2) นักศึกษาเข้าใช้งานระบบ NPU e-Learning เป็นประจำทุกวันมีเพียง 81 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 17.24 3) นักศึกษามีความพึงพอใจต่อการใช้งาน Facebook ในระดับดี (  X = 3.91, S.D. = 0.03) ผลของการพิจารณาความต้องการของนักศึกษามีความแตกต่างกันน้อย และมีความคิดเห็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน ( X = 3.91, S.D. = 0.03) ส่วนความพึงพอใจของการใช้งานระบบ NPU e-Learning อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ( X = 3.47, S.D. = 0.06) ผลของการพิจารณาความพึงพอใจของนักศึกษามีความแตกต่างกันน้อยและมีความคิดเห็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน ( X = 3.47, S.D. = 0.06)

             The objectives of this study were to investigate: 1) behavior to the application of Facebook, 2) behavior to the application of NPU e-Learning system in class communication, and 3) needs to apply Facebook and NPU e-Learning system. A sample was 470 students in the Faculty of Management Science and Information Technology and Faculty of Art and Science. The instrument used was a 5-rating scale questionnaire whose entire reliability coefficient was 0.81. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

            The study discovered the following. 1) Students who used Facebook every day consisted of 258 people, representing 54.89 percent. 2) There were only 81 students who used the NPU e-Learning system daily, representing 17.24 percent. 3) Students were satisfied with the application of Facebook at high level ( X = 3.91, S.D. = 0.03). Students’ needs were considered a little different and their opinions were in the same direction ( X= 3.91, S.D. = 0.03). Satisfaction of the NPU e-learning system application was at moderate level ( X= 3.47, S.D. = 0.06). Again, students’ satisfaction were considered a little different and their opinions were in the same direction ( X= 3.47, S.D. = 0.06).
