ABSTRACT
The purposes of this study were; 1) to develop a multimedia package and a package of blended lesson on
networks entitled ‘Sex and Teenagers’ on the health education subject for Mathayom Suksa 2 students according
to the efficiency criterion set at 80/80, 2) to determine the effectiveness index of the multimedia package and
that of the package of blended lesson on networks, 3) to compare learning achievement between the students
learning through multimedia and those learning through blended lesson on networks, 4) to investigate attitude
towards a sex matter among students learning through the multimedia package and among those learning
through the package of blended lesson on networks, and 5) to examine Mathayom Suksa 2 students’ satisfaction
with learning through the multimedia package and with learning through the package of blended lesson on
networks. A sample used in this study was Mathayom Suksa 2 students enrolled in the second semester of
academic year 2013 at Yasothon Phithayakhom School under Office of Secondary Education Service Area 28. The
instruments used were a learning organization plan, a multimedia package, a blended lesson on networks, a
learning achievement test whose entire reliability value was 0.81, a satisfaction questionnaire whose entire
reliability value was 0.82 and a form for measuring attitude towards a sex matter whose entire reliability value
was 0.80. Statistics used in analyzing the data were mean, standard deviation, t-test of both dependent and
independent samples for hypotheses testing.
The results of study were as follows. 1) The multimedia package had efficiency of 81.85/80.58 and the
package of blended lesson on networks had efficiency of 81.93/89.25. 2) The effectiveness index of the
multimedia package had a value of .70 showing that the students had 70% learning progress, and the
effectiveness index of the package of blended lesson on networks had a value of .81 showing that they had 81%
learning progress. 3) The students who learned with the multimedia package and those who learned with the
package of blended lesson on networks had a significant difference between the mean scores of learning
achievement at the .05 level. 4) The students who learned with the package of blended lesson on networks had
attitude towards a sex matter at the highest level, while those who learned with the multimedia package had
attitude towards it at high level. And 5) the students who learned with the package of blended lesson on
networks had satisfaction at the highest level, while those who learned with the multimedia package had
satisfaction at high level.
